Obukudani in Yuyadani, where our tea fields are located, was described as “the most historic and beautiful tea garden in Japan” in the 2016 “Tea Production Landscapes of Asia” survey conducted by the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Cultural Landscapes in connection with a World Heritage nomination. As we protect an agricultural and rural landscape that continues to evolve, we pursue a more sustainable future for tea farming.
